This remarkable piece allows you to experience the legacy of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the founder of the Edo Shogunate in Japan (1603 - 1867).

It is an authentic replica of his samurai armour, handcrafted by artisans with over 50 years of tradition and experience.

The Japanese samurai armour, known as 'Kacchu,' served as the traditional protective gear for samurai warriors, offering both protection and a display of status and style in feudal Japan.

Displayed during Japan's Children's Day festival, 'Tango no Sekku,' celebrated on May 5th, the 'kacchu' symbolises strength, courage, and the wish for children's healthy growth.
